Hannibal actually chuckled at that dry reply, appreciatively. He was truly
intrigued by this man, but right now, the wound needed tending and that was
his first priority. Second on his mind was that he hoped not to have to
fight or try to kill this man. First, because he truly didn't want to kill
this majestic creature - he wanted to get to know it. Second, because he
didn't know if he would win in a fight.
"There," he said after a while. "I'll bandage the wound and you'll be good
as new."
