John
The full moon wasn't until the next night, but Remus was already feeling edgy. Mostly he wanted to eat a rare steak and go home and fuck Willy. Except Willy... hadn't been home, even though he'd told Remus he would be. And Remus had baked a pie in anticipation. He'd texted, asking when he'd be home. And he got a response, hours later: probably not home tonight. And then he'd thought... where he probably was... which was with someone else...
Remus left the pie on the counter, put on the new scarf and coat he'd gotten for Christmas, and walked down the street to the nearest bar.
He ordered a rare steak and ate it quickly, and then just sat at the bar sipping bottom shelf whiskey.

"I should probably go before he comes home. I don't want to be here for the row," he said as he stood up, suddenly a bit awkward about how to end the night.

"John, I - " He wasn't sure what to say. "I realize this was probably just a fluke thing, but if you want to..." He didn't know how to end that. "I mean. You know where to find me I guess."
no subject
"YEah. I know how to find you," he nodded. He wasn't going to hold his breath. He was sure Remus wasn't going to tell Willy.
Might be kind of nice to get one over on the faerie, though...
God, you are such an asshole, John. You just need to fuck up people's lives, don't you?
Chas did have a point, though. At least this time John knew he was right.

"I'll be around," he said. John caught his face and kissed him for a long moment before drawing back.
"Ta, mate."

"Oh, thank the stars. I thought you might be dead."

"I... no, I'm fine..." he offered weakly. "What are you doing here, you said you wouldn't be home!"

"I came to get my fiddle," he said. "And then I saw the warlock...I thought the worst."

He pulled away from Willy, sure he'd be able to smell John on him. "Would you like some pie? It's still hot..."
no subject
"At your...you had him," he said in stunned disbelief.

"I am," he nodded. "Why him?"
Of all the possible people...why him?

"He's a warlock," he said in disgust.

"Yeah, but you're not dangerous," Willy scoffed.

"Not really," he said, moving to the closet to find his fiddle.

"Are you angry?" he asked.
no subject
"Why would I be angry? Have your affairs," he replied. Despite the question it was clear he was, in fact, angry.

"You can do what you like," Willy snapped. He didn't mean it, but he intended to mean it. It was ridiculous to expect loyalty...but he had. He had, and it stung that Remus didn't love him that much. Which part of him knew wasn't fair, but he was busy being hurt.

He looked down. "Willy, I didn't think you wanted me all to yourself."
